Reminder please complete the Flu consent link sent a few weeks ago for your child to have the Flu immunisation in school on Tuesday 3^rd October.

We now have tours for children starting Reception in 2024 starting next week, if you know anyone with a child starting next year they can check our website for dates and call the school office to book a tour on 01256 350313.

School lunch change for Wednesday 3^rd October and Thursday 4^th October next week (we have had to swap the days). Wednesday will be Roast beef or Quorn chicken or Jacket potato with coleslaw (Thursdays normal menu for week 1) and Thursday will be Ham carbonara or pizza or Jacket potato with Beans (Wednesdays normal week 1 menu).

General Reminders:

• The play equipment must not be used before or after school – our insurance is not valid. Children have been told that if they are caught using the play equipment before or after school, they will lose dojo points.

• We are still looking for some volunteers that may be able to commit to helping in school on a regular basis. This may be to get experience of working in school before completing childcare training or just because you have some spare time on your hands and would like to be involved in school life. You could help with the library, gardening, run small groups or help hear those children that don’t read at home. If you are interested in this, please email parent.mail@hwis.hants.sch.uk.  We would need to initiate a DBS (safeguarding check).

General News and Information:

HC3S have a parent portal where they can register children needing special allergy school dinner menus directly. This will give parents more control and direct contact with the catering team. You will then need to make an application online for your child to have a special menu and the school will be notified automatically.  If you need to apply for a special menu, please see the information by clicking on: https://specialdiets.hants.gov.uk/
