This week Year 2 had a great time on their trip to QMC science centre learning about food chains, animal habitats and life cycles, thank you to all of the parent volunteers that helped. Without parents volunteering to help trips wouldn’t be able to go ahead. Year 1 have been experimenting with colour mixing and creating their own planets. Also have been attending space school! Year R have been learning about how to look after their teeth and had a visit today from a dental hygienist.
A huge congratulation to Miss Weeks and her partner who have recently had their baby boy, mum and baby are both doing well.
If your child has a medical appointment and is going to be late in to school you will need to order their lunch in advance. Please let the office know which lunch option they would like at the same time you advise of the appointment (or check with the office the lunch options that day if you need to). Thank you
We have received an email from a local councillor regarding the parking issues at school drop off and pick up in our neighbouring roads. Please can we remind all parents to park safely, not obstruct drive ways etc and be considerate of our neighbours.
On Friday 9th February 2024 the children can come to school with ‘Mad Hair’ (wearing school uniform) for a cash donation in support of St Michael’s Hospice, a charity that does amazing work and means a lot to some of our families. All money donated will be given to St Michael’s Hospice. There is letter below with more information.

General News and Information:
HC3S have a parent portal where they can register children needing special allergy school dinner menus directly. This will give parents more control and direct contact with the catering team. You will then need to make an application online for your child to have a special menu and the school will be notified automatically. If you need to apply for a special menu, please see the information by clicking on: https://specialdiets.hants.gov.uk/
If your child has a change or existing or new medical condition, please inform us by completing the form which is now available on our website: New or Change to Existing Medical Condition Form
