Thank you for all your harvest donations, the children have had an assembly this morning and shared some bread. All of the donations have been collected this afternoon by the Foodbank.

Thank you to all parents that have logged on to Arbor, can we please ask parents that haven’t done so yet to please log on. Also, please ensure you have booked your parents evening appointment through Arbor if you have not yet booked one.

Parents evening is next week on the 18^th and 19^th October.

• Children are not able to attend the meetings as we are trying to minimise the number of people in school.
• Please come through the main office and walk through school to your child’s classroom.
• Appointments will strictly adhere to 10 minute slots so we do not have lots of people waiting. Please ensure that you help us to keep to time throughout the evenings.
• Please do not arrive for your appointment more than 10 minutes ahead of your scheduled time. Your child’s tray will be on the tables outside the classroom for you to look at and when it is your appointment time you will be able to take it with you into the classroom.

There will be no clubs next week due to parents evening and late nights for the teachers.

General Reminders:

• The play equipment must not be used before or after school – our insurance is not valid. Children have been told that if they are caught using the play equipment before or after school, they will lose dojo points.

• We are still looking for some volunteers that may be able to commit to helping in school on a regular basis. This may be to get experience of working in school before completing childcare training or just because you have some spare time on your hands and would like to be involved in school life. You could help with the library, gardening, run small groups or help hear those children that don’t read at home. If you are interested in this, please email parent.mail@hwis.hants.sch.uk.  We would need to initiate a DBS (safeguarding check).

General News and Information:

HC3S have a parent portal where they can register children needing special allergy school dinner menus directly. This will give parents more control and direct contact with the catering team. You will then need to make an application online for your child to have a special menu and the school will be notified automatically.  If you need to apply for a special menu, please see the information by clicking on: https://specialdiets.hants.gov.uk/
