Phonics and Reading at HWIS.....
At Hatch Warren Infant School we use Oxford Reading Tree as our core reading scheme. We use various other schemes and real books to supplement the reading process.
We follow the Letters and Sounds and LCP structured approaches to teach phonics and we use elements of Cued Articulation.
