The dates for new classes and transition arrangements are listed on the diary dates below. Having met with HWJS, the Year 2 children will visit for the morning and will return to school to have their lunch on Thursday 15th July. They will book their lunches the day before.
The children have had a fabulous week completing a range of arts and design technology activities. A visitor worked with each class to make puppets. The week has ended with all of the classes meeting for an assembly via Teams to show each other what they have made. Year R have designed and made sock puppets, Year 1 have created their own hobby horse and Year 2 have made paper maché rod puppets.

General News and Information:
On 10th July, Poppy in Hedgehog Class is having her cut and donating it to a charity called The Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer. Poppy has decided to do this herself which shows how kind and thoughtful she is. It costs £550 to make each wig with a fitting cost of £150. Poppy is aiming to raise £550 but it would be great to make it to £700 to pay for the complete process.

HC3S are launching a new parent portal where they can register children needing special school dinner menus directly. This will give parents more control and direct contact with the catering team. You will then need to make an application online for your child to have a special menu and the school will be notified automatically. More information on how to access the portal will be sent to all parents as soon as we have it.
Remember that LFD testing is for people who are asymptomatic. If anyone within your household develops symptoms, you must book at PCR test by either phoning 119 or booking online: https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test Your household must isolate until a negative result is received. Please let us know what is happening by emailing email@example.com
If your child is unwell (non Covid 19), please consider if they should be in school. We have had several children in who have been dosed up on Calpol that we have had to send home. We are concerned that these illnesses may pass to staff resulting in the ‘class bubble’ having to close. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
Several parents have asked how they can make voluntary donations to school linked to their business or personal circumstances. There is an option to make a voluntary donation of up to £50 within School Money.
