Mailing for 19th March 2021
Another busy, busy week in school. The children have settled back in beautifully so a big WELL DONE to them all. A big THANK YOU to the staff for working as hard as ever to support the children with their learning in unusual times.
A reminder that drop off into school is between 8.45am – 9am. The doors will close promptly at 9am and lessons commence so please ensure your child is in on time as it is very disruptive if they arrive late and they also miss out on the first session input of the day. Collection time remains staggered between 3 – 3.15pm. Thank you for all adhering to the social distancing and arriving at different time intervals.
As sadly this year we are unable to have our ‘usual’ Easter Egg Hunt, on Wednesday 31st March 2021, we are going to have an Easter activity day resulting in an Easter Egg being given to the children. We ask that you complete the form below and also contribute £2 through the shop on School Money.
We supported Red Nose Day today by having a non-uniform day. So far we have raised over £360! There is still time to contribute to this worthy cause through the link below.

We continue to put our children, their parents and our staff at the centre of any decision making to ensure that we keep everyone as safe as we can at this continued tricky time. If you have any feedback as to how this week has been, please let us know via parent.mail@hwis.hants.sch.uk

The Government announced that adults in the household, child care or support bubble of children of primary age are eligible to partake in Lateral Flow Device Testing screening. You are able to collect 2 packs of home test kits at a local collection point. Each pack contains 7 tests. These should only be used by adults aged 18 years and over. Most collection points are open from 1.30 – 7pm. You can check online to see if the location is open or busy before you go. You do not need to make an appointment. It is important that you do not visit a collection point outside opening hours, as it may be used to test people with Coronavirus symptoms.
