General Reminders:
The children have had another fun week in school. Some of the Year R children have been staying to lunch and for a full day and they have been learning new routines. They have had an opportunity to explore beyond their classroom and have enjoyed accessing the outside area and all of the opportunities it has to offer.
Year 1 and 2 have enjoyed re-starting reading in school. They have been able to change their own books around school and have enjoyed a look at our new library ‘The Treehouse’.
The Year 1 children have been enjoying using the outdoor provision in the mostly sunny weather. They have also been painting the dinosaurs they made in Year R. You will see their creations when they are fully dry. Year 1 are looking forward to their Titanic Day with Openbox on the 4th October… we would be grateful if you can log in to your account to make a contribution towards this event.
Year 2 have been having fun creating tallies and block graphs to show information. One of the favourite questions was what is your favourite flavour ice cream. They have spent a lot of time outdoor learning about different forms of grammar. Why not ask them what they now know.
We start our Parent tours for Admissions 2022 the week after next. If you know anyone who would like to visit, please ask them to log onto the website to book a tour.
Mrs Thomas is leaving the School Office and is currently working some hours to help us until we are able to recruit someone new. We will try to answer the phones and emails as soon as we can - sorry for any delays.
Also don’t forget to follow our Facebook page…we will try to share important events, dates and things that have happened in school……don’t forget to share with your friends and family!
