We would like to reiterate that we continue with class bubbles until the end of term. This decision was made in light of the virility of the virus at the present time. This means that should there be contact with a positive case, there will be fewer children needing to isolate. Can we also stress that despite many of the rules being relaxed on Monday by the Government, the rule for children needing to isolate continues until 16th August.
A big ‘thank you’ to all parents with children in Fox Class for your understanding regarding the enforced ‘bubble’ closure today. We appreciate that receiving a text at short notice not to send your child into school was not ideal but sadly we had a positive case within the class. We will text you over the weekend as soon as we have a result from the PCR test that was undertaken today.
In light of our recent enforced closures, we ask that you continue to adhere to social distancing whilst collecting and dropping off your children until the end of term. Please vacate the site as soon as you can and remind the children that they are not able to use the play equipment.
We have had a significant number of children who have been sent to school having had Calpol to ‘get them through the day’. This is putting our school community (children, staff and parents) at risk. Please keep your child at home if they are unwell, especially if they have had medication within 12 hours prior to the start of the school day.
02.09.21 – INSET day
03.09.21 – Small group visits to school – timings will be provided when the children can visit their new
Year 1 and 2 classrooms.
06.09.21 – Year 1 and 2 children start school as whole classes

HC3S are launching a new parent portal where they can register children needing special school dinner menus directly. This will give parents more control and direct contact with the catering team. You will then need to make an application online for your child to have a special menu and the school will be notified automatically. If you need to apply for a special menu, please see the information in Letters Home
Several parents have asked how they can make voluntary donations to school linked to their business or personal circumstances. There is an option to make a voluntary donation of up to £50 within School Money.

The Government announced that adults in the household, child care or support bubble of children of primary age are eligible to partake in Lateral Flow Device Testing screening. You are able to collect 2 packs of home test kits at a local collection point. Each pack contains 7 tests. These should only be used by adults aged 18 years and over. Most collection points are open from 1.30 – 7pm. You can check online to see if the location is open or busy before you go. You do not need to make an appointment. It is important that you do not visit a collection point outside opening hours, as it may be used to test people with Coronavirus symptoms. Please see the link to locate your nearest collection point: Covid Test Collection Points.
