Mailing for 11th February 2021
It’s the end of the half term so enjoy some quality time together as a family J
To our essential worker parents who are continuing to work at these difficult times - a HUGE THANK YOU!! To all those parents who are helping to keep our school community safe by keeping their children at home and home schooling them – thank you and WELL DONE!!
In the continued national effort to limit the spread of the virus, as a school we are required to continue with contact tracing during the February half term. If your child has been attending school and tests positive having developed symptoms within 48 hours of being in school, please contact us at parent.mail@hwis.hants.sch so that we can follow our school procedures to identify close contacts and advise self- isolation, as the individual may have been infectious whilst in school. Where pupils or staff still attending school test positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) during the holidays, having developed symptoms more than 48 hours since being in school, we are not required to take any action. Please do still notify us though for our records. Parents and carers should follow contact tracing instructions provided by NHS Track and trace.
The week beginning Monday 1st March is National Book Week. Please see our letter attached which details what events will be taking place, including a Zoom visit with Jane Hissey, author of the ‘Old Bear’ book series and more.
