Great head teacher very supportive of my sons needs and go beyond, SENCO always fights for what’s right for the children and that even when Hampshire don’t respond. 

The sign outside the year R classrooms has been invaluable to knowing what's coming up and whether it is school uniform, PE kit or non-uniform. Going up to year 1 there has been confusion over whether PE kit or school uniform is needed on certain days if school trip or Christmas play etc. This could be clearer. 

Cannot fault the teachers, they have been absolutely brilliant. 

The teachers and teaching assistants go above and beyond, and you can tell they really cares! And Mrs Cooney has a way of talking to your child and giving them the confidence they need and speaking to you as a parent ensuring you they and you are doing amazingly! Love this school and all the staff! My son has flourished in this environment because of you! 

I’ve had the privilege of being able to help with reading across the year R classes. All the teachers are all really lovely and care about all the children. The office staff are really friendly and caring too. 

The teaching and support staff have always been very supportive and created an engaging learning environment.

My child has made so much progress in such a short space of time, she always comes home sharing what she has learnt. She is reading and her love of books continues to grow as well as her ever growing vocabulary sharing new words and their meaning with us.  Sure happy with the school and I know she is supported well so thank you all.

I have been part of this school since 2021 and I can honestly say both my children have only had fantastic experiences at HWIS. The teachers we have had are incredible, friendly, passionate and helpful. Both my children have always felt safe there, and always enjoyed going to school they use to/still do run in to the classroom in the morning without saying goodbye because they are excited to go to school. I have been with a few different teachers on the school and can only speak so highly of them all. The teacher staff are equally incredible. I am forever grateful for HWIS for the time, effort and support they haven’t given us over the years. Any child would be lucky to go there. I couldn’t imagine my children going anywhere else and so lucky that I’ve had amazing ladies to help me guide my children. 

My child really enjoys going to school and we feel he is well supported whilst at school by the teachers and support staff. 

Great school, lovely teachers who focus on all aspects of the children's growth and well-being.

My son is in Year R and both his teacher and teaching assistant have made him feel so welcome and encouraging when he feels nervous and unsure.

We are extremely happy with the school and the positive, welcoming atmosphere it creates for both pupils and parents. From the very first visit, we felt how warm and supportive the environment is.

A special well done to Mrs Boorman and the entire school team for creating such an exceptional place for children to learn and thrive. From our perspective as parents, we cannot see any areas that require improvement.
