Mailing for 28th February 2020
Welcome back to school after the Half Term Break. We are all looking forward to Book Week next week. (See the dates, times and important information below.)
Year R have been making posters this week looking for a lost sheep….these have been posted up around school. At the moment, the sheep are still lost, so if you see them please let us know…..
The children in Year 1 have been doing some work linked to Jack and the Beanstalk. We have been amazed by the quality of writing we have read. The children have used some great adjectives to enhance their writing.
The Year 2 children have been writing sound poems. They have also been learning about telling the time. They are getting better with practice.
A reminder that each year group has a trip coming up in the next few weeks and payments/consents are needed. Year R are having a visit in school from The Natural History Museum with their dinosaurs; Year 1 are visiting a farm and Year 2 the Hawk Conservancy. (If we do not have sufficient funds the visits/trips will have to be cancelled) Please log in via the link that was emailed/text to you to make a payment.
All mailing is now uploaded to the school website to avoid us filling up your inboxes. Please go to LINK for this week’s mailing: Weekly Mailing 28th February 2020
