Excellence Plan ~ Improvement Plan

Our Improvement (I) Plan has 5 key objectives that we are looking to achieve 2021-2022.

Aims:

• To communicate the direction of the school over the next year
• To ensure continuous improvement in learning throughout the school, by achieving Key Objectives

Key Objectives

1. To continue to ensure all children at Hatch Warren Infant School continue to feel safe and secure with all stakeholders understanding their role in this process
2. To improve the learning and curriculum design to ensure pupil’s in all groups make good or better progress from their starting points particularly those that are deemed ’disadvantaged’ and to ensure that their mental health and wellbeing is supported.
3. To follow the mastery approach to enhance Mathematical development, with a focus on vocabulary ensuring that all children make at least expected progress and a % make aspirational progress.
4. To continue to raise standards in phonics and reading whilst creating cross curricular links within the creative subjects to enhance vocabulary and creative writing ensuring children make at least expected progress and a % to make aspirational progress.
5. To ensure Governors act as a ‘critical friend’, holding the school to account and supporting the school’s drive from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’.
