Weekly Mailing 9th October 2026

Monday and Tuesday was filled with excitement as Harold the giraffe returned to school to work with the children around their feelings and emotions. He was very well received.

New pupil admission tours have continued this week. If you have family or friends with children looking to start school in September 2026, please direct them to one of our posters or to the website for information about booking a tour of the school with me.

The more children we have in school, the more funding we get in to develop our environment and purchase additional resources. On this note, a huge THANK YOU for all the Amazon gifts that have arrived throughout the week. We have been blown away by your generosity!!

We are having Individual school photos on Monday 12th, reminder could all children please wear full uniform including their jumper or cardigan.

A reminder that we have our first parents evening of the year on Tuesday 13th and Thursday 15th October. We look forward to seeing you.

Unfortunately we have had a few incidents where parents/grandparents have been using the staff car park which is not permitted without a parking permit. The car park is private property. Mr Francis has spoken directly to these adults and has had rude responses. Please remain courteous when speaking to any member of staff. Please communicate this to any one else who may collect your child. Thank you for your understanding.

The Rotary Club shoe boxes need to be returned by Friday 16th October – thank you to those who have supported this worthy cause. We still have boxes in the office if you would like to take part.

We are hosting a Primary Behaviour workshop on bid emotions.  We had planned this for before the end of the Summer Term but the uptake was not high enough to run.  If you are interested in attending this workshop, please indicate what time of the day would be best and we will select the most popular time and allocate a date.

We are hosting a Primary Behaviour Service workshop on Big Emotions.  – Fill out form

Have a lovely weekend.
