Our school councillors recently asked their classes what they loved about Hatch Warren Infant School.  This is a selection of some of the comments.

Year R

I love making new friends.

The teachers help you when you struggle.

I like doing the number wall.

Phonics is so good and teachers give dojos, I like the teachers, they help me.

I love PE.

I enjoy discovery time.

I love the big playground and playing on the field.

I love playing with my friends and playing with the toys.

I love lego club.

I love being on the school Council.

I like school dinners and love the margarita pizza.

Year 1

I love getting dojos because sometimes I get lots and get to bring a toy in.

I love maths because I want to be really smart and it is fun.

I love making numbers in different ways in maths.

I love learning new things in science.

I love PE especially dance.

I love all the lovely books in English.

I love going to our cosy library to choose new books.

I love my friends because they let me play their games.  I like to play games with my friends because it makes me happy.

We learn, I want to find out about bikes because I want to be a stunt rider.

There is a big field and l like to be outside.  I love the monkey bars because I was happy to get to the end of them.  We love running around our field at lunchtime because it is so big!  We love playing different games with Magna at lunchtime.

Because all the adults help me to learn.

I love going to school because we do lots of fun things.

I am really enjoying our art project because I am excited to see what it looks like when it is finished.

The learning is fun!

Year 2

You can learn new stuff at school.

The teachers are kind and loving.

DT and art are fun.

I can learn and try hard.

I like to learn new things.

Books to read.

The teachers are kind and generous and work hard.

There are lots of people you can be friends with.

I can play new games with my friends.

We have a big field and playground.

We have Golden Time.

I love lunch.

School is safe.
