Mailing for Week of 1st March 2019 - website
Welcome back to school after the Half Term Break. We are all looking forward to Book Week next week. (See the dates, times and important information below.)
Year R have been making posters this week looking for a lost sheep….these have been posted up around school.
The children in Year 1 have been doing some work linked to Jack and the Beanstalk.
The Year 2 children have been having lots of messy fun making Great Fire of London felt pictures….the finished artwork was amazing.
Just a reminder re snacks….. The children can bring in an alternative to the fruit/vegetables they are given each day in school. They may bring in raisins, bread sticks, plain crackers or fruit flakes (or alternative) as long as they have no added sugar. (children with medical needs may bring alternatives if they have been agreed with the Leadership team and there is a letter from the GP/hospital relating to allergies/medical advice)
A reminder that each year group has a trip coming up in the next few weeks and payments/consent are needed. Year R are having a visit in school from The Natural History Museum with their dinosaurs; Year 1 are visiting a farm and Year 2 a wildlife centre. (If we do not have sufficient funds the visits/trips will have to be cancelled) Please log in via the link that was emailed/text to you t make a payment. Re the payment system, please can we ask that you do not reset/change your passwords for this system – if you mislay this we have to reset each one and this can be time consuming – thank you for your help with this.
