Mailing for Week of 3rd May 2019 – Website
We have all had a great week in school and we are enjoying the good weather (most of the time)! Please can we ask that with the weather still being changeable, that the children still have their coats in school.
The children are enjoying their new topics this week and have been learning lots of new and exciting things.
Year R have been finding out what a minibeast is and have been cutting and sticking minibeasts too. They have been looking in detail at snails and writing about them – they are very knowledgeable now!
In Year 1, they have been finding out about the people who live in Castles. They are enjoying their Castles role play area having lots of fun re-enacting the different roles of those who used to live in a castle. They have also been making sliders in Design Technology. They have a Castles afternoon planned on the 17th May which 1 parent per child is invited to attend (see letter in mailing this week)
Year 2 have found out that they are exploring the life of Isambard Kingdom-Brunel this term. They are enjoying this new topic.
If you took part in the sponsored read over the Easter break please remember to submit your sponsorship money to the school office ~ thank you.
