Mailing for Week of 28th September 2018
Another week has gone by and it has been great to see some sunshine back in between the cold weather…..hopefully we will have some more good weather before Autumn sets in! Please can you remember to send your child in with a coat as they will need one with the weather changing.
We are starting up our own lego club after half term and a letter in the mailing this week gives details regarding registering your interest. If you have any spare lego at home we would really appreciate it. These can be brought to the school office.
Thank you to all the parents who have attended the presentations over the last 2 weeks. We hope the sessions have been informative. All the information from these sessions and ideas as to how you can support at home have been included in the mailing and uploaded to the website for you to access.
Year R have had great fun this week learning how to make playdough and strengthening their core muscles drawing upside down under our tables….on big sheets of paper. This is something they can continue at home as it is great fun and really helps them but a reminder to stick up the paper!
Year 1’s week has been full of pirate stuff from making pirate clay ships to constructing cut and stick ones. The children are really getting into their topic and enjoying themselves.
Tescos visited Year 2 this week to talk to them about healthy eating. They had an opportunity to try out some different healthy foods. We are grateful to Tescos for coming into school to give the children this experience.
