Mailing for Week of 14th September 2018
The Year R children started school this week and they have been having fun learning new routines and making new friends. They are settling into their new classes and getting to know their new classteachers and classroom assistants. They have been finding their way around the building and exploring all of the different things they can do as part of their day.
The children across Year 1 are also settling into their new classes and finding their way about. They have had a fun week finding out about their new Pirates topic and they are looking forward to Openbox visiting on Tuesday 18th September. (If you haven’t yet paid for this in house trip we would be really grateful if you are able to make a contribution. Without this funding visits like this are not possible.)
The Year 2 children have quickly settled and are enjoying their new classes. They have been finding out about the things that make them healthy and the foods they eat. As part of their topic Tescos are visiting in a couple of weeks to run a healthy days – something for them to look forward to.
